As a Church we have had the privilege of sending out a number of missionaries over the past few years. With a special attraction to Wheaton College undergrad and graduate students, we blessed to have missions minded members of our family that we that we continue to support as they travel to the ends of the earth. Once family, always family!  Please follow the links to learn more about their ministries!

"Four Friends" Discipleship Group
Tuesday 7:00-8:30pm (Pastor Mary Lou and Keith's and the Vigil's homes)
Taking their name from the story of the four friends who lowered their paralytic friend
through a roof to get him to Jesus, this is a small group committed to grow in all the
implications of Jesus Christ as Lord, empowered by the Holy Sprit.  We share each
others burdens and encourage each other to grow and know Jesus in deeper ways. All
ages are welcome.  The class is discussion-based, interactive and includes Bible study
.   Led by Dr. Codman.

Prayer Service (At the church)
Wednesday 8:00-9:00pm
The church is committed to lift up to God the needs of the world, the needs of the
church and the needs in individuals’ lives so we help bring His Kingdom agenda to pass.
We believe prayer is the oxygen of the Christian life. Our prayer meetings are
conversational and corporate. Jesus said that when two or more are gathered in His
name, He is in the midst—when we listen to Him, He will teach us how to pray, and
therefore we can expect that when we are praying on His agenda, He will answer!

Women's Bible Study (at the church)
Saturdays from 9-10am
Led by Heather Davis, this is a time for women in the church of all generations to get
together to form closer bands in fellowship and learn from God's word.

Men's Bible Study
Saturdays  8:00-10:00 am (At the church)
Interactive Bible study in which men listen to God’s Word, seek to apply it and share
each other’s needs and joys in a confidential atmosphere.  All ages welcome.

Young Adult Class
Sundays following the service (At the church)
In our Young Adult Sunday School class (led by Jon Foiles), we look to the Bible to
discover ways to be more faithful to the life and message of Jesus in a post-Christian
culture. We recently finished a study the Sermon on the Mount and its impact
for the life of the church, proceeded by a study based upon Dan Kimball's /They Like
Jesus But Not the Church.

Adult Class
Sundays following the service (At the church)
Helping people find and apply God’s word in their lives for the transformation that Jesus
Christ wants to affect. Currently, Rodrick Banda is leading a discussion after his
sermons. Previously this year, we have had a study of relationships and a class on
managing your personal finances.

available in the Spring for immigrants and refugees in our community to sign up for,

the line- 630-665-2259, extension 410- hear a short devotional, and leave their prayer

A time of hymn singing and fellowship with the elderly residence of Belmont Village. The
Tuesday worship service is led by our pastor, Dr. M.L. Codman-Wilson.

Praise Team
Tuesday 7:30pm-9:00pm
The praise team at Christ Community Church seeks to bring people into the presence of
the Lord through genuine worship.  Our goal is to honor Christ and build up his body.  It
is our prayer that God would be revealed through our worship, that he could come to the
forefront and we would fade into the background.  It's not about us and it's not about the
music.  It's all about God. "Let the godly sing for joy to the Lord; it is fitting for the pure to praise
him."  Psalm 33:1. New musicians are always welcome.  Contact Matt Young
(mattman134@verizon.net) if you are interested in playing with the praise team.

The Choir
Wednesday 6:30-8:30pm
Led by Micah Clark, the Choir ministers to the church through their voices and character
during the church service. Singing every other week  during the offertory and as an
anthem to the service, their music brings another dimension to the application of the
message and what it means to be a part of the body of Christ. All attendees of the
church are welcome to participate. Ability to read music is greatly appreciated, but not
required with diligent attendance.

God's Love Food Pantry
This is a church ministry geared toward serving families we connect with in our various
other ministries during times of need. The collection/Pantry is located in the church's
Fellowship Hall.  The Food Pantry is supported by our Loose Change offering taken
during worship once a month.

Semi-Annual Global Awareness Banquets
Our latest banquet focused on the topic of Immigration and Refugees- "Welcoming the            Stranger." Our guest speaker was Matthew Soerens, a local immigrant rights activist and          author of Welcoming the Stranger: Justice, Compassion & Truth in the Immigration Debate
These events are an opportunity to learn as a church, set aside a time for fellowship,
service, and gain an awareness as we learn about the struggles of the Church around the
world and our call as brother and sisters to educate ourselves and respond to those needs.
